Dolores, San Miguel, and San Juan Basins Roundtable
The Dolores, San Miguel, and San Juan Basins Roundtable, created under the provisions of the Colorado Water for the 21st Century Act is composed of representatives of the cities, counties, and water interests of the Dolores River Basin, the San Miguel River Basin and the San Juan River Basin in southwestern Colorado. Its duties are to organize itself, elect representatives to the Interbasin Compact Committee, inventory existing water resources within the Basin, inventory water needs and conduct public education.
The Roundtable has selected John Porter, Cortez, Southwestern Water Conservation District and Jennifer Russell, Telluride, San Miguel County representative. Representatives of the Southern Ute and Ute Mountain Ute tribes were included in the Roundtable on the initiative of the Rountable.
