Due to global warming substantial, and increasing, amounts of energy are being stored in the world's oceans.[1]. This results in increased evaporation from the World's oceans and increased volume of water vapor and energy in the Earth's atmosphere, thus increased precipitation, including extreme events such as tornadoes.[2]
